New to BaristaZoo after completing a barista course last week. My partner and I are opening our coffee bar at the front of our fruit shop (serving only take away) next week. I was wondering if anyone had any tips for first pour nerves!
The best advise I can give to you is to make sure you know what you are doing or have someone else that knows about coffee making procedures otherwise you are likely to get flustered on your first day. I ordered a coffee the other day at a new coffee shop and ended up behind the counter making my own coffee as they had no idea!! Even when another customer came in to order they had no idea what he was talking about when he ordered his espresso coffee. So best of luck with your new venture and enjoy.
