Everyone likes a great coffee in the morning to start there day I know I do and I expect the same if I was to visit a barista myself, I know best coffee is one that with a fresh shoot from the machine and fresh milk at the right tempture of about 65-70c is perfect temp for it and smooth and creamy as well, shiny velvet texture all the way thru. Its amazing how its big business now coffee with all coffee shops around.

It is amazing. I was called by a girl from Melbourne, Australia who was writing a thesis on the burgeoning coffee culture in Australia, in particular the capital cities. As coffee trainers, we have seen a huge growth in people wanting to get trained and the only reason for this is the huge explosion in commercial espresso machines that are being sold around the world. I think we are only at the tip of the iceberg!
totally agree coffee is huge thing these days I myself plan on doing coffee training course even though I have already done one at work but we didn't receive any certificate for it at the end. I do have a deep passion for making coffee for customers for sure, as a customer myself I expect a great coffee when I go out and order from a cafe as well.
Interesting comments guys, totally agree Matthew, just purchased a mobile coffee van,so certainly hope we're on the right path!!
pretty sure you can't go wrong with coffee van because no matter where you are there is always plenty of places that aren't close to a regular coffee shop that's for sure, with the van you bring the coffee to people like that, in return you gain regular customers build up business for yourself with it all, let me know how you are going with the van would love hear more about it all
Thanks Nat will do
First day out, expected to just do intro's etc,but sold 60 cups!very positive response
That's great news to hear things are on up for you, I am sure you will build regular customers in no time at all.
Hi Phil Im just at the moment having a van custom designed and looking to be on the road in 6-8 weeks time, (if all goes well) well done on the 60 cups, its a great start, very encouraging. I'm hoping to be averaging between 80 - 100 cups a day once Im well established. Mainly visiting light commercial/industrial areas during the week here in North Brisbane, and hopefully events and functions on weekends.

I've already had people wanting me to service their business and sporting events, and its amazing too how word of mouth will get you even more work... hope you have great success in your new venture, good luck
sounds very positive already and with potential customers already asking you about it, wish you well in your new found venture of coffee lifestyle.
How you going Alan ,good luck with it mate ,gotta say ,its a good fun job!!
So far ,I've only had good positive responses, surprised me just how much some people look forward to their coffee!
yeah coffee is very important to people these days from all walks of life, first thing in morning of course, throughout the day, even when out shopping with friends, or casually meeting up with people, business meetings and functions etc list is endless.
Hope its all going well Phil, did you franchise or go out on your own? I guess there are pros and cons for either...
Went with the franchise Al ,as you said, pros and cons with both , so up to the individual, How are you going with your van?Must be getting closer?
