My name's Chris, I'm 21.
To cut a long story short, right now, I desperately need a job. I can't stress that enough. I've been out of the workforce for several months now and it's taking it's toll, luck hasn't found me yet-- something's gotta give.
I'm sick of being on C-link, let alone dealing with them, I'm stuck in "Employment Services Network" which is really just a glorified, politically correct term for the dole.
I can't stand being classed as a dole bludger, it's completely degrading.
I k…

I stumbled across some Ethiopian coffee from a Melbourne coffee roaster called "Red" a few weeks ago at a trade fair in Sydney. I purchased a kilo of their beans. It was quite a dark roast. I have to say....one of the best single origins I have tasted in a long time. It was full-bodied and strong without being bitter and it was incredibly smooth.
Brazilian Cerrado is also one I am enjoying at the moment....great stuff but not as good as the Ethiopian I have to say!

A fellow coffee enthusiast from Dubai dropped in some Zurich-roasted beans recently for me to try (he is a pilot and gets around to many countries in a short space of time!)
I was super impressed! The espresso was smooth and by the look of the extraction, it had been recently roasted. It was a fine espresso on its own and the flavour even shone through on a caffe latte.
It just goes to show that there are probablty roasters all around the globe now who create great blends with top ingredients…

Today I performed a simple test. I made an espresso which I turned into a caffe latte from the ground coffee that was in the chamber of the machine from last night. We usually clean the chamber at the end of each day so that we can use fresh coffee the next morning when we come into work. Someone however had failed to do this (I could blame myself but that wouldn't be fair).
Anyhow, the coffee came out in 15 seconds. The crema was only a few shades darker than white, and the espresso watery. Ob…
