My name's Chris, I'm 21.
To cut a long story short, right now, I desperately need a job. I can't stress that enough. I've been out of the workforce for several months now and it's taking it's toll, luck hasn't found me yet-- something's gotta give.
I'm sick of being on C-link, let alone dealing with them, I'm stuck in "Employment Services Network" which is really just a glorified, politically correct term for the dole.
I can't stand being classed as a dole bludger, it's completely degrading.
I know what these places are all about. A case manager I once had was decent enough to tell me they're designed to waste your time. Sure, they might help get you 1 or 2 jobs (usually always govt. subsidy-based...) but if they don't end up working out for you and you lose it, then they pretty much write you off altogether.
Anyway, I won't go on.. believe me, I could write a book.

I'm recently certified as a Barista since completing a course with The Australian Barista Schools' Barista Basics.
Being that I've had so little experience other than a series of practical excercises, it's almost impossible to find work in this field.
Almost all Barista roles advertised specify that they require someone with at least from around 2 - 5 years experience.
The ads that mention that they just require someone with experience are the all that I can apply for which leaves my options extremely limited. I'm yet to hear back from any employer(s) unless I personally contact them to follow-up, in which case I'm usually bluntly informed that they either did or didn't receive my application but it wasn't "successful".
To any employers within the Sydney Central-West area; If you're looking to hire/recruit people with novice level experience or you're able to refer me to someone you know who are, please directly contact or consider me for your/their vancancy . I'd highly appreciate it and would be happy to send you a copy of my C.V.
Thanking You in advance,

Chris.
